(blog) The media, government, narrative, division and the stigmatization of the American populace

Cody Franklin of Alternatehistoryhub once did a piece describing how the American media fuels a cycle of violence. A particular pattern that has been fueled by news media outlets acting as both a source of information, and a piece of entertainment that capitalizes off of the tragedies that have affected us in recent years. And it is only getting worse. But this issue has since, been expanded into multiple different areas. There are a lot of ground to cover in this piece so I am going to highlight a few of these points. Some of which has already been done by Cody in the video. Violence sells, debate sells, controversy sells, and much more. I've wanted to make this for a while now and I figured 1. Stigmatization, ostracism, and anger. 2. The power of suggestion and influence. 3. Creating hatred. 4. Failure of the establishments and government. 1. The first point we will cover over is in regards to how far people will push others into conformity, and reject those who

Videogames. What can be said about them? They are a fun and interactive gaming medium that immerses players into a world of adventure, action, coded in a way that  will make people feel the accomplishment of challenging themselves and... basically just having a stress-reliever. It is a way that makes us feel comfort and joy during our down times. So why then has there been so many controversial issues involving them? It is amazing how a majority of the controversy we seen in the past decade or two involves videogames in some ways. Many of these claims such as videogames are harmful to minors and it teaches children to become murders and killers when it has been proven many times to not be the case. (Case in point; mentally disturbed individuals suffering from bullying, domestic abuse, problems with school and peer-pressure.) Games were an outlet for them, and one could say it is a primary motivator. Bug I tend to disagree, as correlation does not equal causation. The wonders of Psycho

(blog) updates

Hello again faithful readers! Just letting you know that I'm working on a couple new projects. It's been a week, or rather two weeks now since Despair has released. I never expected to hit it hard and hit it far overnight but I am glad enough to be getting something as opposed to nothing. That being said, I'm splitting up my personal and professional projects. So expect more short stories and flash fiction articles from me in the future. I especially like get back to doing NDI stories. Atop of an introductory piece that will be the first in the universe of the supernatural sci-fi horror series. This will also include several retcons of established supplementary reading material. I want to diverge as far from SCP Foundation as I can. So things like 'Orientation Sheet' and Harrowing will undergo significant changes. Also expect more critical pieces and analysis writings in the future. Peace~!

(Blog)From the Grave

Hello readers! It has been quite a long time hasn't it? I think I've last been here was around... September or November since I've last paid a visit to this blog. Well good news for you guys! I am back. I feel as though I owe you all an explanation as to why I popped off with the promise of Kowloon being published  almost more than six months ago. To tell you the truth, I have no excuse really. I've just been stressed, I've slacked off on my passion, and I hit a few scrapes and burns during my last two semesters.  There were also computer issues but that is beside the point I am trying to make really. The point is, I had to get myself back together and shape up to make sure I will return with promises that I have failed to keep up, and actually deliver on them. So with that being said, Kowloon is currently under review in Amazon and hopefully, in 72 hours, it will be available for the store page. If not, then I will find a means to distribute the book through a
